Valentine's Day Storm, Details at 11!

Gotta love the local news people. The teasers and headlines they use are too funny! We went to bed last night hearing about the "Big Valentine's Day Storm of 2007!"

Here in suburban Maryland we got a few inches of snow yesterday, which got topped off with a bunch of sleet and freezing rain last night. Woke up this morning to find our van coated in about a half-inch of solid ice - a problem since I left the ice scraper inside the van and I couldn't even open the doors.

Doh!

The kids are loving it! Schools let out early yesterday and are closed today. Even my wife's office closed for the day (though she brought some work home with her yesterday).

We're spending the day playing in the snow/ice and drinking hot cocoa! Nice! How's your Valentine's Day going?
