Dad's in the Kitchen

An email from Nels Henderson arrived in my inbox the other day. He's a web, graphic design and marketing consultant in southern California. He's also a new dad. Noticing a distinct lack of material for time-pressed, new fathers who find themselves with "only a limited window of opportunity to enjoy dinner with your wife" he put his family's own experiences and knowledge together to create Recipe for Fatherhood.

The website offers recipes and tips for simple, quick (30 minute) meals. Henderson presents them in an easy-to-read manner with steps broken out for the prep (he stresses prepping ingredients beforehand to speed the process), cooking, etc.

I don't know about you, but basic, quick, tasty meals are just what I am looking for during the hectic week. The one fault I have with Recipe for Fatherhood, is that each category (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, desserts) has only a handful of recipes at this point (perhaps Henderson will be adding to his repertoire in the future). But, hey, I will be giving a few of his recommendations a try... maybe Baked Pork Chops with Cranberry Sauce for dinner tonight?
