847 is entirely too many pictures to have stored on your digital camera (well, technically, I guess they're saved on the memory stick but still... it's way too many). I really need to organize them all somehow; maybe find some photo storage software or something (any tips on that sort of thing, please let me know).

Anyway, I was browsing through some of my recent pics and this was the last one I took. It's the view from my front porch about 1:00am last Saturday morning. The damp quietness of the night and the eerie glow of the street lamps through the dense fog had me in mind of the Hound of the Baskervilles or some other Holmesian adventure. I sat there for a few minutes just taking it in and enjoying the scene before I headed off to bed.
