The Magnolia State

It took a bit longer than I would have thought to travel across Louisiana, due primarily to a pit stop and a surprising amount of traffic near Baton Rouge, but the state also looks deceptively small on the map. Some time later we finally made it to Mississippi. We were tempted to stop at one of the casinos in Biloxi, maybe play some slots, but it was already dark and we wanted to get to Grandma and Grandpa's before the kids crashed for the night.
