Happy Birthday, Mom!

Although I've only been a part of your family for a little over 5 years now, I have been incredibly blessed by your presence in my life.

First and foremost, I thank you for giving birth to my wonderful wife! The fact that she is who she is today, as a person, would not have happened without your guidance and love over the years. And thank you for being so warm and welcoming to me when your daughter invited me home to meet her parents. And for being such a wonderful grandparent to our children as well.

And thank you for the million other little things you've done for me over the past 5 or 6 years... the Qui-Gon Jinn birthday cake, the homemade pasteles, the conversations, the prayers, and on and on.

So, from the bottom of my heart, I wish you all the best today and always! Happy 60th birthday, Mom!
