Up, Up and Away!

Our new house sits on a slight ridge and backs up to a wooded area (where there's a creek). That was was one of the reasons we chose this lot to build on (big trees are something of a commodity in Texas). One morning last week, on my way home from dropping the kids off at school, I noticed a huge hot air balloon skimming just over the treetops behind our house. For a moment I thought it might actually crash into the woods, but it began to gradually rise and in a few minutes it sailed quietly overhead.

Beautiful!
