I Know Where My Towel Is

Hi! Well, it has been a while hasn't it? Hmmm.... Yes, and well, in case the suspense has been killing you, I am indeed typing this post from Texas.

I guess you might say we took our time getting here - kind of a scenic route of sorts. But, to make a long story short (not exactly my forte), we started our move on that most auspicious of days, Friday the 13th (of April). That's the day the movers arrived. We spent the next couple weeks staying with family and friends in Maryland and Florida as our new home wasn't quite finished.

Finally, on Tuesday, May 1, we pulled up in front of our new house. The movers had arrived a few minutes earlier and once we unlocked the front door with our shiny new keys, they immediately started the unloading process.

We've been quite busy since then, what with unpacking, arranging our things, meeting the neighbors, getting lost on the way to the grocery store (where I decided to pick up a good map) and such. I've been wanting to blog; it's just been hard to squeeze it in.

Anyway, all-in-all things are going quite well and I'm sitting here banging out this quick entry feeling like a pretty lucky frood.
