What Are They Teaching Kids These Days?

Recently our son's preschool class did a unit on healthy eating habits. That's all fine and dandy, except he has now taken to scolding me for drinking soda. He has enlisted his sister's help too. She's been studying charts and graphs as methods of displaying data in her math class (she's in first grade). So, together they came up with a drinking chart. Each member of the family gets to color in a portion of their bar graph at the end of the day, based on how much water, milk and fruit juice they consumed.

No points for my Mountain Dew (or beer), darn it!
