State of the Blogosphere

There are now over 50 million blogs online (and that number is increasing at the rate of 2 per second) according to David Sifry's most recent report. And those blogs generate an average of 1.6 million posts a day, which works out to 18.6 per second.

Wow! I've got some serious reading to do. So many blogs, so little time. I better start posting more often too (gotta do my part to keep that average up).
