My How the Time Flies

It's hard for me to believe, but our daughter turns 6 today. 6 years ago the doctor placed this little bundle in my arms and my life changed forever. 6 years ago I became a dad.

I think about that first day - how tiny she was (well, if you call 9 lbs tiny), her little button nose, how I could cradle her in one arm and everything - and then I flash forward to last night when I went into her room to check on her and she looked up at me with a yawn as she tried to hide the flashlight under her pillow. It was way past her bedtime (in fact she'd been in bed for nearly an hour) but there she was still awake, laying in her bed reading a book. She's grown and changed so much in 6 years. I wonder what the next 6 years have in store for our little girl?
