RIP

It's been reported that freelance journalist, and blogger, Steven Vincent was shot and killed in Basra, Iraq this morning. I was an occasional reader of his blog, In the Red Zone, and regardless of what else you might say about him, he was surely a talented and thoughtful writer with a real knack for telling stories you couldn't find anywhere else. His writing, of course, will continue to live on.

My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.
