Friday Miscellany

The kids and I are feeling much better this week. Thanks for all the well wishes! The best part of having sick little munchkins? Illness seems to bring out the snuggles, especially in our son! I spent a good part of each day laying on the couch with him curled up on my chest. I just love that (though at 45 pounds he's getting a bit heavy).

Publicity is good! We've had 10 new members join DC Metro Dads since some of our guys were featured on a local newscast Monday night.

Woohoo - we got more snow! Yep, it snowed all day yesterday so the kids and I spent a couple hours outside shoveling the driveway and sidewalks and just having fun. They just look so darn cute all bundled up in their snowsuits, with their rosy cheeks and outstretched tongues, trying to catch snowflakes! You couldn't wipe the smile off their faces. We have to take advantage of the frozen precip before the sun melts it all today, so we're about to head back outside for a couple hours of play before lunch.

And more good news... there's a chance we'll get another snowstorm on Monday!
