Delivery

This evening, as I returned from a trip to the grocery store, I noticed a large dump truck slowly driving up our street. That's not too unusual, but while I unloaded the groceries the same truck made several passes up and down the street in front of our house. The driver kept peering out the window like he was having a hard time finding a particular address. Hmmm, I thought. That's kind of strange. Did a neighbor order 2 tons of dirt delivered on a Saturday night?

Finally, right in front of our house, the truck stopped. The driver got out and, much to my amusement, it turned he was indeed on a delivery... for Domino's! He's delivering pizza in a 5 ton truck! Really, they can't be paying him enough to cover the gas mileage that thing gets!

Yes, this is another instance that proves it's the little things that amuse me most.
