Amazons in Space!

Tall, buxom, blonde (and brunette? redhead?) warrior princesses in zero gravity! Err.... No. Sorry, that wasn't where this post was supposed to go. Ahem....

Rather, it looks like Amazon chief Jeff Bezos is joining Paul Allen and Richard Branson in the billionaires' quest for space. Reuters (via MSNBC) reports that the internet retail king is hoping to go a few steps beyond the X-Prize winning SpaceShipOne and is looking into the long-term colonization of space by funding a new space venture start-up called Blue Origin.

I wish I could get in on the action, but my wallet is a bit thinner than this crowds'. Maybe I should start buying lottery tickets....
